The title of the play, “The Boy Comes Home” is quite justified. It rightly conveys the gist (central idea) of the play and gives a hint to understand the story. It signifies the coming of a young soldier boy to his home after the war as a changed and rather matured young man.
He changes all the prevailing conventional fashions of his home. In this sense his coming to home is a significant one and rightly been placed as the title of the play.
